What Makes Boards Valuable

Gold fingers & pins

Edge connectors, pin grids and plated contacts carry the precious-metal value. RAM sticks and CPUs punch far above their weight for this reason.

Grade matters

Dense server and telecoms boards outgrade basic consumer boards. Keep high-grade boards apart from low-grade brown boards and power-supply boards.

Leave components on

Boards are graded complete. Stripping chips, heatsinks and fingers off downgrades the board — send them whole and let grading do the work.
